Parkdale Mills Inc the world leader in the manufacturing of spun yarn announced the acquisition of privately held US Cotton LLC the dominant supplier to almost every major US and Canadian retail chain of private label, cotton based consumer products such as swabs, cotton balls, rounds and square pads.

The acquisition further expands Parkdale's own entry into the private label cotton products business while enhancing Parkdale's supply chain strategy by fully utilizing all by products of the yarn manufacturing process.

Anderson Warlick, President and Chief Executive Officer of Parkdale Mills, said, "Parkdale's acquisition of US Cotton is all about continued market penetration, complementary supply chain management and growth in the US retail market for personal care products made from cotton."

Mr. Warlick also said "US Cotton provides us with a highly strategic and complementary technology as their manufacturing processes are noted to be some of the most efficient in the world using equipment and technology developed from years of research and development with the highest quality vendors in the industry. Parkdale is fully committed to applying the resources necessary to continue US Cotton's market penetration and leadership.

As we share complementary technology visions, we firmly believe Parkdale will fully empower US Cotton with the broad-based financial and technical resources to grow its market share in the US and Canada and other markets worldwide."
