Hatay, a province situated between Mediterranean and southeastern Anatolia has all the characteristic features to become a trade and tourism center of Turkey.
A research study on this has been conducted by the Turkish Industry and Trade Ministry. Besides, experts also believe that the province has the potential to become Turkey's window to the Middle East in terms of both trade and tourism.
Reports reveal that the province of Hatay has nearly 418 industrial facilities operating in its domain, of which textile and crude oil from the major sectors. However, a large number of foreign investments are still required to bring Turkey at par with other developing countries.
