PET Recycling Forum 2008 to be held in Feb

The participants' registration to the PET Recycling Forum 2008 which will be held on February, 12 at Baltschug Kempinski Moscow Hotel has been opened.

The event will be organized by CREON in cooperation with the leading expert of PET industry Dr. Ulrich K. Thiele (Polyester Technology).

The forum will be held for the first time. It is expected to become the unique event of PET recycling industry.

Inside of the forum Dr.Ulrich K. Thiele will present overview of the current state and development prospects of PET recycling in the East Europe. Russian reporters are expected to illuminate the plans and projects of processing enterprises construction, new capacities commissioning, as well as will present the existing enterprises.

The schemes of waste-free production for the high quality production (food containers, nonwoven fabric) and the ways to attack on the most actual Russian problem of collection, segregation and ablution of wastes will be presented at the conference.

The total consumption of PET at the territory of former USSR exceeds 800 thousand tons per year, but own Russian PET production is about 200 thousand tons per year and provide only 25 % of market requirements. Therefore PET Russian market depends on import. However, PET production will reach 1 million tones by 2010 and any import will be unnecessary.

CREON provides a unique opportunity for foreigncompanies to get the up-to-date information concerning Russian PET market, as well as strike new business contacts with all Russian PET market players.
