Year 2008 to provide more opportunity for EQUATE

The EQUATE Marketing Company (EMC) recently held its customary 'Annual Customer Appreciation Dinner 2008' in Six Palms, Marina Hotel under the patronage of Hamad Al-Terkait, EQUATE President and CEO, to honor representatives of 19 local polyethylene end product manufacturing companies.
The occasion provided a great opportunity to the owners and senior executives of plastic industries of Kuwait to exchange matters of mutual concern with co producers and concerned EQUATE officials.
EQUATE Senior Vice President Dan Gibbs, EQUATE Marketing Company President Adel Al-Munifi, Regional Sales Manager Muayad Al-Faresi and many other senior executives of various functions such as Credit, R&D and Supply Chain were present during the occasion to share any credible information with the customers and to express commitment towards local clientele.
During key note address Al-Terkait asserted that “While EQUATE is celebrating its 10th anniversary, it has marked distinguished achievements in the year 2007 in terms of highest production, added safe working hours and better service to the customers surpassing the achievements of previous years”
Al-Terkait said that, “With the anticipated expansion of production capacity of EQUATE and the start up of EQUATE II, year 2008 will provide more opportunity for EQUATE to cater to the increasing customer demand in the region and beyond.”
He further said that “EQUATE is committed to support local customers through its R&D and knowledge transfer initiatives to increase their production and export potentials. EQUATE is also keen to support local community in general through various schemes under 'Corporate Social Responsibility'”.
