What is more, we gave the Ministry a pleasant surprise by exceeding the exports target fixed by the Government by Rs 1500 crores. The credit forcl a lot of this ; goes to the award winners, Our members who managed to give growth despite being in a very hostile situation like High Crude Price, Intensified competition, high transaction costs, and additional burden of infrastructure deficiencies.
As they say “Accept the Challenges, so that you feel the exhilaration of victory” ……. well dear members ; you did exactly that.
I, would also like to inform the Honorable Minister that success is a journey for us and not a destination. We are doing our best to maintain the trend in the export efforts. In current year so far up to august we have registered a 9% growth and achieved Rs.4500 Crores of exports.
