Nonwoven fabrics supplier Avgol buys Fiberweb

As required by the Takeover Code, Fiberweb confirms that this announcement is being made with the agreement and approval of Avgol. However, for the avoidance of doubt, this announcement does not amount to an announcement of a firm intention to make an offer and, accordingly, there can be no certainty that the discussions with Avgol will lead to an offer being made for Fiberweb.
