Carmichael House named Best Home Products Retailer

At the glittering Awards for Retail Excellence during the Asia Retail Congress, 2008, Carmichael House, the home textiles brand of S. Kumars Nationwide Ltd, (Total Home Expressions Division), has received the award of "Best retailer of the year in home products & office improvements".

The award was given to acknowledge the brand's phenomenal growth and consumer perception in the retail category.

Receiving the award Mr Aloke Banerjee, CEO, Total Home Expressions said, "We are proud of the fact that consumer's differentiate us from others and reinforces our practice of believing in ourselves. We will continue to build the brand around better customer experience."

On this occasion he also asserted that "We are glad, that in just one year of operation in the home textiles industry we have got such appreciation."

Last year, Carmichael House had introduced the "Soul Earth" Collection which was inspired by "glory of nature in rejuvenation". "Soul Earth" has also proved to be a well accepted & admired line of the brand.

And now, Carmichael House in collaboration with Mr Raghavendra Rathore announced the launch of the "Raghavendra Rathore Collection".

The renowned Jodhpur-based designer - Mr Raghavendra Rathore, for the first time, after comprehensive research lasting three months, stepped into home textiles and has exclusively designed for Carmichael House.

Carmichael House will channel this designer line through their 40 exclusive stores, 600 multi-brand outlets and large format outlets. With 50,000 exclusive sets available as an inaugural offering.

After "Raghavendra Rathore Collection", Carmichael House plans to launch many collections with focused design themes and this will in addition to the regular range. It plans to take the brand to a stronger position in the home textiles industry.
