BWMB to build understanding of wool at US Surfaces

The British Wool Marketing Board (BWMB) returns to the floor covering show Surfaces (30th Jan - 1st February) to showcase British Wool products from their licensed manufacturers in the USA.
The 'World of Wool' display sees the renewal of last year's successful partnership with The Woolmark Company.
British Wool continues to focus on wool's environmental benefits and its unique natural attributes in carpet. Feature displays highlight its comfort, durability, strength and easy- care qualities, which are backed up by product in the latest colours and designs from manufacturers operating under the prestigious British Wool licensee scheme.
Manufacturers exhibiting with the BWMB include The Woolmark Company, Axminster Carpets Ltd, Earthweave, the International Design Guild and Hibernia Woollen Mills.
"We are keen to build the understanding of wool in the USA and we shall distribute our latest 'About Wool for carpet' brochure, which focuses on the many natural abilities and benefits of wool in carpet." Explained Mr Tim Booth, Product Development Manager with BWMB.
"British Wool brings particular natural strengths to carpet and this is something that many retailers would benefit from knowing more about. In terms of the environment, wool is a fibre that has a uniquely green lineage and that makes it perfect for the growing eco-flooring market now developing across the world."
