Daily quotation of various textile raw materials

February 13 was the first trading day after Chinese New Year, PTA price slightly climbed up, MEG price showed a temporary correction, semi-dull and bright polyester chip prices were dull, CDP chip, PET bottle slice prices also displayed a smooth trim.
Prices of acrylic staple 1.5 D × 38mm, acrylic top 3 D × 102mm were in consolidation; CPL price moved sideways, nylon 6 slice price slightly lowered. VSF price corrected. Polyester filament prices represented a steady trend at the opening day, but downstream purchasing power was poor, only a handful of traders and weaving factories had sporadic procurements at very low price level. Currently market transactions have not yet resumed.
Yarn market prices were flat with pre-bid level before the festival. All cotton yarn 32s had better demand, it is mainly used by air-jet looms in production of spring clothing fabrics. PSF prices from upper reaches slightly fell; market outlook is expected to continue a weakened trend.
