As a part of campaign to encourage and build confidence in the minds of farming communities who are most affected by farm debts, we have arranged for the visit of a group of farmers from Vidarbha, Maharashtra to Coimbatore during 16th to 21st February 2008.
They will be taken to different farming activities and interaction with Tamil nadu farmers is being arranged. This program is coordinated by Dr. M.S.Swaminathan Research Foundation, Chennai, SICA and M/s Super Spinning Mills.
On 20th February, 2008 we have planned a Seminar at 10.30 a.m. followed by a Valedictory function at SICA office. This seminar will be addressed by experts on Soil Crop Management and there will be an interactive session with the visiting farmers.
Kindly arrange to depute your reporter to publish the gist of the interactive session through your media for public awareness.
