Ethylene prices for Asian region fluctuate

Ethylene, the most produced organic compound in the world, is considered to be one of the important raw materials in textiles and organic chemical industry. It is an inflammable, colourless gaseous alkene, obtained from petroleum and natural gas.
As ethylene production in China is growing, the market is also surging rapidly. However, prices, on February 14, showed fluctuating trend for the Asian region as against last week.
Asia region ethylene prices:
Ethylene, CFR Northeast Asia, at US $1420-1425 per metric ton.
Ethylene, CFR Southeast Asia, at US $1320-1330 per metric ton.
