By now, it is a known fact, dyeing and printing sector plays a crucial role in sustaining the textile industry of any country. However, unfortunately, Hubei Province of China has a different story to narrate.

Although, the province produces around 3 billion of quality grey cloth, the dyeing and printing industry can manage only 200 million meters or even less. This has obviously impacted the development of the textile industry of Hubei.

Inefficiency on part of the dyeing and printing industry clearly shows that upgradation in technology has become imperative for the textile sector which is still on the stage of processing supply materials.

Expert reports prove that around 80 percent of China's important dyeing and printing enterprises are concentrated in Zhejiang and Guangdong Province.

Need of the hour is to improve the production capacity of the dyeing and printing units of Hubei Province, so that the textile industry can become self-sufficient in manufacturing its products. This will also help strengthen its position in the world market, effectively contributing to the foreign currency earned by China.
