6th flock technology meeting at Weinsberg

As in 2007, because of the Flock Symposium at Berlin, Germany, we did not organise any regional meetings, we now invite you to our 6th event.
These regional meetings should serve the getting-to-know each other and for the exchange of experiences among associations' members and the people interested in the flock technology.
Moreover, we inform about the work of the flock association, new projects are presented and new and interesting applications for the flock technology are shown.
A special topic this time is REACH. In the years to come, this European guide-line concerns all those companies, coming in touch with adhesives. Mr. Knörzler from the CHT – Chemische Fabrik Tübingen, Germany, shall give us a quick inside and will be available for our questions.
Another highlight is the presentation of the flocked garment, which won the first price of the flock association at the TVP-exhibition. Here, quite unconventional and creative techniques were used and thus very nice effects achieved. The winner comes from the Western Saxon High School at Zwickau, Germany, within the trade group textile and leather technique and shall inform us about the working area of this trade high school, apart from her flock thesis.
In addition, we shall inform you about the TVP exhibition, having taken place at the end of January of 2008 as well as discussing the developments in the T-shirt trade and in sports wear.
The TVP fair has developed into the leading event for textile printing, embroidery, transfer and flocking in the T-shirt trade, in sports wear and in the promotional trade. Flock was a very important topic at this fair and offered in a fast variety.
