Dyeing & printing industry to get technological upgradation

The sixth round of joint conference between the National Labor Union for Finance, Trade, Textile, Baccy, Light Industry and the China National Textile and Apparel Council was held on February 15.
The main objective of the meeting was to create awareness about energy-saving and eco–friendly society.
They aimed to put this into action by propagating activities like saving energy and reducing emission in Chinese dyeing and printing industry. This, in turn, would be achieved by adopting excellent technological schemes for the purpose.
Initiative on this proposal was taken as early as 2003, when both the associations decided to carry out responsibility system as the keystone of their cooperation in cotton textile, clothes, silk, knitting and the home textile industry. So much so, that they have included this policy in the development outline of Chinese textile industries during the 11th five year plan.
Investigation about the pros and cons of Chinese dyeing and printing industry has also been undertaken by both the organizations.
