Milliken Napery Fabrics adds Charles & Heidi to Hospitality team

Milliken & Company's Napery Fabrics Business has added Charles Young and Heidi Mitchell to its Hospitality Sales Team, with Young managing Milliken's North East Territory and Mitchell managing the Central Territory.
Young previously worked as a process and product improvement specialist at Milliken's Sharon plant in Abbeville, S.C. Prior to joining Milliken, Young served in the United States Army for 22 years. He is an honors graduate of the University of Maryland, where he majored in business administration.
Mitchell began her career at Milliken as a plant accountant in the chemical business after graduating from Wofford College. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Spanish and finance and gained international business experience during a semester in Madrid, Spain.
Mitchell became acquainted with Milliken during high school when she participated in Milliken's Summer Leadership Institute (SLI), which partners with Wofford College to mentor high school senior leadership in local communities. During college, Mitchell worked as an SLI counselor and coordinator and also participated in Milliken's Summer Challenge Internship Program at the Gayley Plant in Marietta, S.C.
"Charles knows our company through his work at the Sharon plant and has the solid business background necessary to manage the North East Territory," said Rick Jarrard, Milliken Napery Fabrics Business Manager. "Heidi has been connected with Milliken since she was in high school, and her participation in Milliken's Internship Program gives her an edge as a manager. I'm looking forward to seeing how these gifted new territory leaders advance the capabilities of the Hospitality Team."
