I am happy with the budget, Gokak Textile MD

Giving his view on Union Budget 2008-2009, H S Bhaskar, Managing Director, Gokak Textile Ltd, informed Fibre2fashion, "Whatever we had expected is been given by the Government."
TUF is continuing so that's a good sign as it will bring investments in the industry. Further, as CST has gone down by 4 percent, which will help severely suffering spinning sector. This will assist to retain some part of profit to industry. Polyester yarn custom duty has reduced by 1 percent, this is quite beneficial for the industry.
Although, the Government forgot to pay any heed to the exporters' problem, it is proactive regarding this problem and has given timely attention when required.
Overall Mr H S Bhaskar seemed quite happy with the budget presented by the Finance Minister.
