INDEX Awards Ceremony to take place on April 15

EDANA's INDEX 08 Awards are the highest accolade for the best examples of excellence in our industry and highlight some of the innovations from businesses of all sizes, from all parts of the nonwovens supply chain.
Five Awards, covering everything from product and process innovations to marketing brilliance, will be presented to the winning companies, selected from amongst the nominees, during a special ceremony attended by the media at 12.30 on Tuesday, 15th April – the first day of the INDEX 08 exhibition.
INDEX 08, the world's largest nonwovens exhibition, is taking place at Geneva Palexpo from 15-18 April 2008. Over four days the exhibition will bring together all the players in the nonwovens industry from raw material producers to manufacturers, finishers to converters, to environmental protection, measuring and testing equipment manufacturers, to trade associations and journals.
Over 13,000 visitors come to INDEX to look into the future of nonwovens, to see first-hand what the leading experts in the field have to offer.
The INDEX awards jury, which was compiled of former company marketing and R&D experts, the media, and academics, met at the end of January in order to select the nominees … and the winners, which will remain undisclosed until the Awards Ceremony.
Due to the high number and quality of entries, the jury were hard pressed to filter down the number of nominees to a maximum of only three per category and to select the final winners.
1. Nonwoven roll goods
Nominees:
• Ahlstrom - Ahlstrom Disruptor Technology
• E.I. DuPont de Nemours and Company - Hybrid Membrane Technology
• Freudenberg - TAU
