President of Singapore on official visit to Da Nang

S.R. Nathan, President of Singapore is on a five day official tour to Vietnam along with his associates. Yesterday, he visited the city Da Nang, where he will be holding a meeting with Singaporean entrepreneurs.
Pervious year, export contribution of Da Nang city to Singapore was nearly US $8.2 million. The products included fine art, handicraft, wooden furniture, leather footwear and garments.
Even various products were imported from Singapore to this city like metal wear, petrol, machineries and chemicals, the amount reached almost $27.8 million.
Singapore already has five projects worth approximately $110 million going on in Da Nang. The visit of President is seen as a positive sign for betterment of trade relation between both countries.
