Proved reserves of Entrada Field is estimated at approximately 39 million barrel of oil equivalent, and expected production in mid-2009 is 28,000 barrel of oil equivalent per day.

The Gulf of Mexico has been one of the focusing areas of ITOCHU Corporation in order for it to grow as an oil and gas explorer/producer and CIECO has been participating into exploration projects in the Gulf of Mexico since January 2007.

In addition, in March 2007, CIECO acquired working interests in the oil and gas producing fields in the Gulf of Mexico through acquisition of two subsidiary companies of Range Resources, US independent Oil & Gas Company.

Even after those events, ITOCHU Corporation has been striving to develop and enlarge a well-balanced portfolio of exploration, development and producing oil and gas assets located in the Gulf of Mexico. ITOCHU hopes in the future to cooperate with the Group company Kansas Energy to create added value for these operations.

Our Energy Development Division is presently participating in oil / gas development and production leases in Azerbaijan, the North Sea (UK), Australia, Indonesia, Algeria and Russia.

We are also involved in LNG projects in Qatar and Oman. We hope to continue in the future to strive to acquire rich resources overseas base on these core operations.
