NITRA to offer 15 industry oriented programs

NITRA strongly believes in linking education with the business world and opens the gateway for its students to attain professional excellence.
In the academic session 2008-09 NITRA will offer 15 industry oriented programs, 10 on full-time and 5 on distance learning basis.
The programs will cover most happening areas in the field of textiles and apparel with full-time programs aimed at grooming fresh participants whilst career-enhancing distance-learning programs to provide unique opportunity for working executives for upgrading their knowledge and skills.
NITRA will also offer three exclusive programs on Industrial Environment Technology & Management, Thermal & Electrical Energy Management and Industrial Energy Management.
NITRA is conveniently located on a beautiful lush green pollution free sprawling campus, away from the hubbub of the city - an environment, ideal for teaching-learning process.
The campus is situated in Ghaziabad, approximately 20 km from Delhi, well connected by rail and road transport. The huge infrastructure includes spinning, weaving, knitting and chemical processing workshops, pre-sewing, sewing & embroidery and garment finishing workshops, computerized pattern making (CAD) laboratories and five NABL accredited quality laboratories.
