Guangxi-Vietnam Goods Exhibition, is ending today at the Vietnam Exhibitions and Fairs Centre in Hanoi. The three-day expo offered more than 100 enterprises a chance to display a wide range of products including textile and garments.
A workshop was organized on Vietnam-Guangxi trade and investment co-operation, by joint efforts of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Guangxi agencies.
On the opening day of fair entrepreneurs from Vietnam and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China signed more than 37 contracts worth nearly US $780 million for projects including energy and mining.
Both the regions enjoy a good business relation with each other. In 2007 the bi-lateral trade reached $2.4 billion, accounting for more than 15.7 percent of the total trade between Vietnam and China.
Last year Guangxi had invested approximately $74.2 million in Vietnam for setting up 85 new projects. This investment has contributed a lot in the development of Vietnam.
As a result, authorities of Vietnam are making all the efforts to provide best facilities to the Chinese investors.
