Manufacturing of innovative textile & garment machinery escalates

Ms Tehmina Doltana, Federal Minister of Science and Technology in Pakistan visited the Almurtaza Machinery Global Village at the Karachi Expo Center.
Ms Doltana also met Zulfiqar Ali Rashid, Director, Almurtaza Machinery Co Pvt Ltd and explicitly evinced her opinion about textile and garment machinery and its export from the country.
The Director of the company also briefed the minister about the machineries and expressed hope about launching the latest Sequin Device II Twin Type from Tajima this year.
This machinery will be the first of its kind in Pakistan which makes possible embroidering of 4 different sizes, shapes and colors on each head.
Developments like these show that Pakistan is assiduously working out a way to improve not only the production of domestic textile machineries but also the overall output of related goods like apparels, embroidery products, knitwear and others.
