An award and a work of art: Designed by world-famous Belgian sculptor, Olivier Strebelle, the stunning work of art is both beautiful and representative of the diversity of EDANA's members and their products.
Taking inspiration from nonwoven roll goods, end-product and machinery, the EDANA logo and from the Chinese lucky number 8 (Olympics 08, INDEX 08), Strebelle has designed a striking 8-position bronze sculpture which evokes many of the characteristics of nonwovens including versatility, protection, separation.
Olivier Strebelle, born in 1927, is designing the 100 metre long series of sculptures for the new Olympic Museum Park for the Beijing Olympics.
