Ramco gets hi-tech with new textile plants

Ramco Textile, is known for constantly updating its textile units in order to improve the production processes. This technically advanced Group has recently put up five hi-tech textile units in Rajapalayam with 80,000 spindles.

The Company now, proudly owns nine spinning mills where 'hands free' technology is applied for yarn production in nearly 3.8 lakh spindles. This technology ensures that cotton remains untouched till cone winding, this helps in enhancing the quality of yarn, resulting in superior finished products.

Ramco had introduced 'compact yarn', that added strength and durability to the fibre in the market, five years ago and since then there has been no looking back for the Group. The company has emerged as 'biggest compact spinning group in Asia' within a short span of time.

The company has major clients in Europe and Japan and plans to capture new overseas markets to take a prominent place in global market.

Ramco Group, has ventured into various fields since its establishment including manufacturing garments, property development and hire purchase.
