Experts expect rayon yarn market price to fall further

On Monday, April 28, available statistics show PTA prices gained further. MEG market prices along with CDP chips and PET bottle slices stayed in adjustment; prices for semi-dull and bright polyester chips weakened.
Acrylic Staple 1.5 D × 38mm, acrylic top 3 D × 102mm prices consolidated; CPL price adjusted, nylon 6 slices were stable. PSF prices fell down.
At this point, visitations from the buyers in the polyester filament market were extremely limited and therefore prices remained sluggish, and trade volume also saw a moderate rate. However, when transactions were made some concessions were provided.
At present, inner fabrics and fabrics marketing in lower reaches was still tasteless, both woven manufacturers and traders showed bearish psychology towards future market trend. Investors expect the market will lower further.
In addition to the dull pattern of rayon yarn, cotton yarn and polyester yarn also maintained in consolidation. Demand for cotton yarn 32s was quite strong, but for other specifications, were rather thin. In blended yarns, polyester and cotton yarn, polyester and viscose yarn remained stable in prices.
Prices for rayon yarn saw a plunge. The varieties of 40s and 40s/2 fell by 100 yuan per ton due to price decline in viscose staple fiber. Monday's market price was focused at 18,550 yuan per ton, down 100 yuan per ton. It is expected that rayon yarn market will continue to experience a downward trend.
