Non-woven fabrics output records a high growth

According to the latest figures received from the National Bureau of Statistics, production of non-woven fabrics reached 62,800 tons in March, depicting an increase of 45.21 percent from the previous month.
The cumulative production of non-woven fabric, during January to March touched 161,800 tons, a boost of 34.09 percent over similar period previous year.
Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan, Anhui and Guangdong provinces emerged as the major producers of non-woven fabrics in March. Of all the regions, Zhejiang produced 6,600 tons, accounting for 26.36 percent of the total output in the country.
Shandong Province produced 8,466 tons, ranking the second. Hebei demonstrated the strongest growth with up 259.35 percent rise over February, to touch 557 tons of non-woven fabric in March. Anhui achieved 110.52 percent surge on month.
However, Chongqing Municipality produced a mere nine tons of non-woven fabrics in March, a decrease of 43.75 percent from the previous month.
