Nilit, a global manufacturer and leader in the production of nylon 6.6, will showcase its latest yarn innovations at the 6th International Istanbul Yarn Exhibition in Istanbul, Turkey, May 14-15. Nilit will be located in Hall 5, Stand 519B.

“The Istanbul Exhibition provides a unique international marketplace for Nilit to reinforce its commitment to and leadership in the global yarn industry,” says Oded Breier, Nilit's marketing and sales manager.

“Plus, Turkey itself is a high priority market for Nilit as more and more customers request our performance yarns in this strategic region of the world.” Nilit's technical staff provides on-the-ground customer service in Turkey and the marketing group supports the region with trend forecasting and communications programs.

At the Istanbul Exhibition, Nilit will feature Nilit Aquarius, its newest innovation in performance products for the activewear and seamless markets. Nilit Aquarius represents a significant advancement in nylon 6.6 design that provides three tiers of moisture management performance:

• An effective, moisture management additive is permanently embedded throughout the fiber
• The fiber itself is constructed with a specially shaped cross section to maximize wicking surface area
• The yarn is designed to create micro-channels to transport moisture away from the body

In addition to Nilit Aquarius and its other performance yarns, Nilit will present its exclusive NilitTrend Collection for Fall Winter 2009/2010. The only fiber company to provide original trend insights to its customers, the Nilit Trend Collection summarizes key fashion trends in the Bodywear and Activewear categories.

Nilit provides this value-added service to its customers as input to and inspiration for their product design process. Nilit branded yarns offer unlimited answers to consumers' demands for fashion, comfort, sensuality, and technical performance.
