Lack of PSF demand worries domestic manufacturers

After the holidays of May Day, demand for Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF), continues to be weak in the domestic market. In Xiao Shao, PSF price witnessed a negative trend, the market offer for 21s is around 14,000 yuan per ton, 32s stands at 14,600 yuan per ton, 45s rate is almost 15,900 yuan per ton, 50s is for 16,200 yuan per ton and 55s is at 17,700 yuan per ton.
In Shengze which is another mainstream market, polyester yarn market also declined to quite an extent. The price of 21s was around 14,100 yuan per ton, 32s touched 14,600 yuan per ton, 45s came to 15,400 yuan per ton, 50s was approximately 16,300 yuan per ton and 60s was nearly 17,200 yuan per ton.
PSF in Shandong was also feeble, the trade volume shrank, 21s price was almost 13,800 yuan per ton, 45s stood at 15,600 yuan per ton, 50s reached nearly 16,600 yuan per ton, 40s/2 rate was 18,000 yuan per ton, polyester /cotton 65/35 45s price reached almost 18,000 yuan per ton.
In South China polyester yarn 32s is at the lowest price level by merely reaching 13,400 yuan per ton.
The overall yarn market is going through gloomy phase, however the producers are positive about future.
