First ever non-mulesed wool to be up for auction soon!

A hard struggle for what is just and what is not, certainly pays off and it finally did pay off well for wool growers who stood by non-mulesing methods of fleecing their sheep.

A handsome 1600 bales of Australian wool procured from non-mulesed sheep is on its way to get auctioned through internet in the eastern states.

Victoria and South Australia ranked high with the greatest number of fleeces and about 20 buyers from China and Taiwan have already registered for participating in this first ever global auction of non-mulesed wool.

Growers are optimistic that mills across the world will reflect a high demand for this premium wool which has cost them a lot more than the usual fleecing. They therefore expect better returns for their efforts and decision to comply with humanitarian laws.
