An Economic Forum was scheduled on June 2 in Ashgabat at the International Exhibition Center. The meeting was attended by leading Turkmen and foreign specialists, experts, businessmen and private entrepreneurs from Russia, Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, Switzerland, China, Korea and other countries.

Representatives from companies like Rieter, Jum-Shui, Engin groups, KITECH, and Hansman took their turns in talking about their plans and business proposals for developing and sustaining fruitful cooperation with Turkmenistan.

Besides, the forum also saw participation by those foreign companies seeking to tap Turkmen markets and establishing close business links in the country. Some of these companies include Tchaikovsky Textiles and Tekstilmash (Russian Federation), Hunsman and Bezema (Switzerland), BASF (Germany), Le Kler and Meert (Belgium).

Such frequent interactions with the business world will help domestic companies to expand their domain in other countries and explore new export markets for their diversified product range.
