It will be amongst the most modern refineries and most efficient in the world. The RPL refinery will be one of the most complex refineries in the world with a Nelson Complexity Index of 14.0.

Its Information Technology infrastructure and integration is unparalleled in the world.

Asia and Middle East will be contributing 60-70% of incremental demand. Our refinery will be well positioned to supply to these markets too. The most important markets for Gasoline will be the U.S., Africa and Middle East.

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION:
The RPL refinery was conceptualized in December 2005. At that time, several challenges were shaping the contours of the global refining industry. We evaluated them carefully and decided to go ahead.

We bet on our proven abilities in project implementation and on our people. And our decision has been fully vindicated. During the year your company has made rapid progress in implementation of this world-class project.

In the process, several significant milestones were surpassed. These include completion of engineering works, procurement and contracting activities. And near completion of equipment deliveries and rapid progress on equipment installations at site.
