'Refinery largest and most complex in the World', says Mr Ambani

The demand for energy continues unabated because it is the most critical determinant of economic success in today's world. Therefore, the prospects for the refining sector remain encouraging. And the long term outlook for refining margins continues to be positive especially for complex refiners like RPL.

This is because of robust demand, tight product supplies and slow growth of new capacities dogging an already stretched refining system. The primary driver for this demand growth will be transportation fuels.

We are witnessing in this area a clear shift towards lighter and cleaner, environment-friendly fuels. The tightening of product specifications continues in several regions across the world. This presents new trade opportunities for complex refiners like RPL.

All in all, your refinery is well-positioned to capture the opportunities emerging from all these factors.

Before I conclude, I will like to acknowledge the commitment, hard work and dedication of the entire Reliance Team for working relentlessly towards setting a new global benchmark in project execution."
