Saltigo GmbH, a global service provider for custom synthesis and custom manufacturing, will showcase its impressive portfolio at Chemspec Europe 2008, which takes place in Munich on June 18 and 19.

This wholly owned subsidiary of specialty chemicals group LANXESS AG offers tailor-made solutions for customers from the crop protection and pharmaceutical sector as well as for various non-life science industries.

“Our customers particularly value our ability to support them throughout the entire product lifecycle – from process development through piloting to commercial production,” explains Dr. Uwe Brunk, head of the Agro & Specialty Chemicals (A&SC) business line.

“Our expertise in process optimization is one of the most important success factors, enabling us to develop our business successfully in the face of international competition.

This depends in particular on having cost-optimized, robust processes and reliable technical transferability.

Our expertise repeatedly enables us to break new ground using syntheses that are often more streamlined than classical routes, allowing costs to be cut and giving our customers an edge on their markets,” explains Volker Jesse, head of marketing for A&SC.

Saltigo's service portfolio comprises the development and optimization of chemical syntheses, the piloting and upscaling of existing processes and the large-scale production of complex molecules.

This subsidiary also provides its customers with skilled support on issues related to analytics, supply chain optimization and the registration of substances.
