During the last week, domestic propylene markets around the country started gaining momentum, and prices started moving up at a rapid pace. Reportedly, the tight propylene supply in domestic market as well as continued high international oil prices are the cause for these firm prices.
Asian propylene price raised US $85 on June 11, FOB Korea closed at US $1745 per ton, CFR China closed at US $1810 per ton.
One of China's domestic Acrylic manufacturers expressed that CFR price for July delivery increased to US $1800. In the market, seller's intention was at US $1820 per ton for CFR China.
