New NIFT Centres to come up at Patna, Bhopal, Shillong & Kannur

All efforts are being made by NIFT to ensure the commencement of New NIFT Centres in India in the following cities:

1. Kannur (Kerala)
2. Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh)
3. Shillong (Meghalaya)
4. Patna (Bihar)


The Centres are expected to be opened from the Academic session beginning from August, 2008. At these centres, arrangements for Academic Campus, 100% in house accommodation in NIFT arranged hostels of students enrolled and admitted to these Centres will be ensured. All or any of the centre will only commence, and admission will be given to students only when all the above facilities are completed to the full satisfaction of NIFT and entire infrastructure for smooth function is in place.

The highest academic standard at these all Centres will also be maintained through placement of experienced and competent faculty by relocating the existing faculty from other NIFT centres.
