Kingston on the Edge (KOTE), a weeklong celebration of self-expression through the medium of art, is scheduled from June 20 to 28 at Braemar Avenue in New Kingston. KOTE was introduced last year for providing contemporary Jamaican artists a platform to display their creative work.

The seven day urban art fest will include exhibitions of textile, jewellery, handicraft and furniture from upcoming talent as well as prominent artists. KOTE also encourages innovative people who follow traditional techniques to participate and showcase there talent in front of a large number of visitors.

This is for the second time the festival is organized by a group of six young and dynamic people who want their countrymen to make their mark in international art arena.
