Russia is still promising market, stress experts

Russian Government for past some time is trying to limit Chinese imports, so as to protect its local industries, especially textile, thus, straining the trade relation between Russia and China.
However, analysts believe that, Russia still offers lucrative opportunities for China, since purchasing power of the people is strengthening rapidly.
According to 2007 statistics, the average monthly salary of Russian residents reached US $545 dollars and the demand for the middle and high-level garments has enlarged significantly. Today, about 15 percent of the locals can afford the top-grade clothing from chic brands.
Experts say that, with slight caution and bit of extra efforts, Chinese textile industry will be able to bag huge share of this growing market.
They stress that, Chinese enterprises must be aware, understand and follow all the legal procedures related to trade with Russia. This must be strictly monitored so as to avoid any complications or allegations.
It was also important for Chinese companies to upgrade their products and offer quality and variety at a reasonable rate. This will attract Russian buyers and help China to regain its position in the market.
