In the just past week, domestic propylene markets around the country started gaining momentum, and prices are shooting up. Reportedly, the tight propylene supply in domestic market as well as continued high international oil prices are the cause for these firm prices.

Propylene, FOB South Korea, at US $1790-1810 per ton.
Propylene prices in European region:
Propylene (polymerization level), FD Northwest Europe, at Euro 940-945 per metric ton. Propylene (polymerization level), CIF Northwest Europe, at Euro 930-935 per metric ton.
Prices in the United States:
Propylene (refining level) at US cent 77.625-77.875 per lb. Ethylene, at US cent 70.000-70.250 per pound.
