Bremen General Assembly elects its new Presidency

The Bremen Cotton Exchange held its 134th ordinary General Assembly in its 136th fiscal year on June 26, 2008. The General Assembly elected its new Presidency and accepted the Annual Report 2007 containing the activity report of the Cotton Exchange as well as a broad textual analysis of the global cotton market including numerous statistics and pictures.
Wolfgang Vogt-Jordan, Managing Partner of the Bremen cotton trading company Albrecht, Müller-Pearse & Co., was nominated President succeeding Lüder Vollers, Berthold Vollers GmbH (photo).
Jens Lukaczik, Executive Director of Cargo Control Germany GmbH, was nominated Vice-President.
The honorary chair is elected for a period of two years at most according to the by-laws of the Bremen Cotton Exchange. Executive Director of the Bremen Cotton Exchange is Jan B. Wellmann.
