The first Montex TT has recently been installed at Turkey's denim specialist Orta Anadolu in Kayseri. Although only introduced at the recent ITMA, the TT version has quickly attracted considerable attention.
Featuring 4 m long chambers/modules compared with the standard 3 m long chambers, the Montex 7000 TT introduces a completely new concept specifically for coatings and the technical textiles sector.
For coating purposes, the almost unlimited access to the interior of the chamber was a key point for the Montex TT.
A single gas burner or heating element and two TwinAir ventilators per chamber therefore make, for example, a coating line comprising three 4 m chambers more economic than four 3 m chambers.
The long established Monforts user, Orta Anadolu will be using the new Montex TT stenter for coating 2 m widths of denim production. The company recently increased production of denim to 36 million m making it one of the world's leading producers.
With an integrated spinning, weaving, indigo dyeing and finishing mill, Orta Anadolu employs almost 1000 people and its mill covers an area of 156,000 m2.
