Daily quotation of various textile materials on July 7

This Monday, on July 7, PTA price continued to show an increasing trend where as MEG price adjusted. On the other hand, prices of semi-dull and bright polyester chips trimmed, where as CDP chips and PET bottle slice prices consolidated.
Staple 1.5 D × 38mm, acrylic top 3 D × 102mm remained unchanged; Prices of CPL, nylon 6 chips were flat.
Even though trade volume was moderate and market prices were stable, Polyester filament market looked dull. At present most water-jet weaving manufacturers adopted a hand-to-mouth purchasing mode. It is expected that polyester filament market will maintain the pattern of consolidation in short term.
Cotton yarn market stayed in a consolidating trend; 21s, 32s still had demand, as they are mainly used in production of nylon /cotton fabrics.
Rayon yarn demand continued to decline and with this, prices also lowered. Trade volume of polyester/ viscose yarn, polyester/cotton yarn was moderate; of which market demand of 32s, 45s was fair, 45s had larger trade volume.
Market price of PSF was in correction. It is expected that polyester yarn market will move smoothly.
