Jul '08
Guangzhou city has started attracting attention from the chief associations and organizations in textiles. Lately, it has been noted that textile industry is shifting its focus to several key regions of South China.

In June 2008, China National Textile & Apparel Council (CNTAC) and China Textile Information Center (CTIC) set up their branches in Guangzhou city.

Besides this, CNTAC Test Center Guangzhou office was also formally opened.

Guangzhou International Light Textile Center collaborated with National Textile Products Development Center to host 'Fashionable Textile Fabric Trends Spring/Summer 2009' event. The exposition by CTIC lasted from 16 to 23 June 2008.

These measures show that CNTAC and CTIC are taking aggressive steps to support and develop textile and clothing industry in South China, especially concentrating on high-grade and wholesale products.

These offices promise to provide information and technical know-how to the domestic enterprises as well as guide them to stretch their reach and become stronger.
