From 27 to 31 July, the International Oeko-Tex Association will be appearing at the ITMA Asia for the first time. Experts from several Oeko-Tex member institutes will be available in Hall E1, booth B09 to provide visitors to the fair with information on the Oeko-Tex testing and certification system.

Apart from a visit at our exhibition stand, we would like to warmly invite you to our information event on 28 July. Oeko-Tex representatives from Europe and Asia will give an overview of the standard's successful development so far and current issues.

Until today alone, 1.383 Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certificates were issued for 1.192 companies from all stages of the textile value added chain in mainland China that have their products tested for harmful substances – with an ever growing tendency.

In addition, Asian manufacturers are also becoming more aware of ecological production processes. In this context, Suzhou Deylon Textile Co Ltd in Jiangsu was the first company in Asia to be awarded as „eco-friendly factory” according to Oeko-Tex Standard 1000 just recently.
