Jyothy Laboratories to foray into 'Fabric Spa' business

Jyothy Laboratories Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on July 30, 2008, inter alia, has :
1. Approved the plan to foray into new business "Fabric Spa" a complete rejuvenating solution for garments under its newly formed subsidiary Company called 'Jyothy Fabricare Services Ltd' (JFSL), with the objective to provide "World Class Laundry at affordable price". The initial investment for this new venture will be around Rs 40 crore.
2. Approved the change of the Accounting Year 2008-09 to end on 31st March each year. The Company's latest Accounting Year ended on June 30, 2008. The Accounting Year 2008-09 will be for 9 months ending on March 31, 2009.

Jyothy Laboratories came into being in 1983, powered by the vision of one man – M P Ramachandran - the current Chairman & Managing Director.
