Cotton USA releases US cotton supply & offtake.
Highlights:
• '08-09 World mill use estimated at 124.5 million bales, down 1.4 million bales from July.
•'08-09 World production estimated at 112.2 million bales, down 2.8 million bales from July.
•'08-09 U.S. exports estimated at 15.0 million bales, up 500,000 bales from July.
•'08-09 U.S. production at 13.8 million bales, down 0.2 million bales from July and down 5.4 million bales from the 2007-08 crop.
•'08-09 China mill use estimated at 53.5 million bales, down 500,000 bales from July.
