Ethylene prices plunge steeply

Drooping crude prices in the international market has affected ethylene prices in the domestic region. High demand of the product, through out the globe has failed to pick up the prices on August 13.
Prices quoted for Asian, Far Eastern, European and US market noted a steep fall compared to the previous week.
Ethylene prices in Asia region:
Ethylene, CFR Northeast Asia, at US $1420-1430 per metric ton.
Ethylene, CFR Southeast Asia, at US $1330-1340 per metric ton.
Ethylene prices in Far East region
Ethylene, FOB South Korea, at US $1400 per metric ton.
Ethylene, FOB Japan, at US $1400 per metric ton.
Ethylene prices in Europe:
Ethylene, FD Northwest Europe, at Euro 1195-1200 per metric ton.
Ethylene, CIF Northwest Europe, at US $1695-1705 per metric ton.
Price in the United States:
Ethylene, FAS Houston, at US cent 45.000-45.250 per pound.
