Sinopec Yizheng Chemical Fibre Co Ltd recently announced that after aggressive research for almost three years, it has successfully developed pilling resistant polyester fibre.

It has been noted that pills are easily formed on the surface of polyester-fibre fabric, making it unattractive and rough in texture. Thus, this material cannot be used to make high-end chic dresses and clothes.

However, the new Sinopec anti-pilling polyester fibre can be used to make superior fabrics, which will offer different and fabulous options for high-end garment manufacturers. This fibre is also the first high-tech short fibre product in China.

After conducting thorough inspection, product quality authorities confirmed that this fibre matches the advanced international standards.

Insiders inform that this fibre is rapidly attracting interest and, already, many leading clothes manufacturers are eager to reach a mutually beneficial deal with Sinopec.

Experts believe that this innovation will play an important role in taking knitting fabric industry into a new era.

Besides, Sinopec Yizheng Chemical Fibre Co is continuing further research in order to widen the applications of polyester-fibre.
