Rory Holmes, President of INDA, Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, will be one of the featured speakers at the highly anticipated New Horizons Conference sponsored by the Cleaning Products Division of the Consumer Specialty Products Association.

The two-and-a-half day conference, scheduled for October 19-22 at The Inverness Resort in Englewood, CO is an opportunity for experienced cleaning products industry professionals to gather in an academic environment to learn about the latest technologies and discuss the challenges of emerging issues.

Holmes' presentation will provide both a basic overview of the nonwovens industry as well as reviews of specific products and technologies used in various cleaning products.

He will also review opportunities being found for the marriage of nonwoven technology and cleaning products in the 21st Century.

“The cleaning and household products industry has long benefitted from the product attributes offered by various nonwoven technologies,” says Holmes.

“These opportunities will only increase in the future and it is important that the companies making these cleaning products understand what nonwoven fabrics can bring to the table in terms of product development.”

The conference site and program format have specifically been chosen to facilitate close interaction with speakers and with industry colleagues. The overall theme of the event is “Technologies and Challenges for Today and Tomorrow.”

Among the other highlights of the event are:
