Nominations for election to AWI Board open on Sept 20

The Chairman of Australian Wool Innovation (AWI), Brian van Rooyen is among five existing board members standing for re-election at the Annual General Meeting in ovember.
Nominations for election to the AWI Board open on the 20th of September 2008.
The three recently appointed members of the AWI Board, Mr Ken Boundy, Ms Robyn Clubb and Dr John Keniry are required by the AWI constitution to stand for election this year and have been nominated by the Board.
Mr van Rooyen and fellow director, Dr Chris Abell, are seeking re-election to the Board as they are among the longest standing directors since last being elected to the Board as required by the constitution.
Anyone can nominate in writing before the 8th of October 2008, provided he or she is supported by at least 100 AWI shareholders.
The election of directors will be held at the AWI Annual General Meeting at Belmont Race Course in Perth, Western Australia on the 19th of November.
