Azerbaijani culture comes alive in Berlin through expo

The Museum of Ethnography in Berlin is presently holding a mesmerizing exhibition Azerbaijan - the Country of Fires. The expo began on August 26 and will continue to draw art lovers of the region, till the month of November.
More than 3000 hand crafted products are being displayed in 1,000 square kilometers of area in the Museum. The exhibition is divided into seven sections that showcase products belonging to different time periods.
The main idea behind holding this expo is to provide wide information about Azerbaijani history and material-cultural heritage. Works from National History Museum, Museum of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi, Institute of Manuscripts, State Archive Department and National Library will be also exhibited.
This exhibition will then move to Dresden Ethnology Museum from November 2008 till March 2009.
